Kyudomushin is a simulation of Japanese archery, which is called kyudo. You can practice shooting in the practice room or shoot at real targets in the dojo. The simulation uses physics, so each shot will be slightly different depending on your forces on your arrow from the bow.

Kyudo is not really a sport that is focused on accuracy, but more of a kind of meditation that uses archery. Please enjoy slowly moving between the positions and feeling when to release the arrow.

In the dojo, there is a settings button which allows you to adjust various features of the simulation. You can change the seasons and the color of the sky. There is a toggle for controlling whether sayings about kyudo are provided after you shoot. There is a toggle that controls whether acceleration information is provided on the left side of the screen. The goal in kyudo is to move smoothly between the poses, so you want to reduce the accelerations that you make. The graph type allows you to toggle between showing distance between your arrow and the target or your acceleration total. The arrow speed slider determines how fast your arrow flies to the target. The eye position allows you to adjust the position of your eye, because this can vary for different form factors.

Mushin (無心) is a Japanese word meaning empty mind.
